The optional buffet dinner includes 2 starters, 2-3 main courses (with vegetarian alternatives), a salad bar and a variety of desserts as well as a bottle of water and tea or coffee.
SDC Trip to Transylvania May 25 to May 29 2010 (draft)
May 25
Leave Szeged and drive via Arad, the Maros Valley, Déva Castle, Vajdahunyad Castle and Gyulafehervár. Arrive in the evening in Sibiu (Nagyszeben) for evening meal and accommodation.
May 26
Probable short sightseeing tour of Sibiu. Drive via the “Fogaras” to Poiana, and on to Bran (Törcsvár). Return to same hotel in Sibiu. Evening meal.
May 27
Leave Sibiu and drive via Medias (Medgyes) and Sigisoara (Segesvár) to Cluj-Nacopa (Kolozsvár). Accommodation (for two nights). Evening meal.
May 28
Probable short sightseeing tour of Cluj-Nacopa. Free time, until evening. Special dinner with Csángó dance performance.
May 29
Drive via Oradea into Hungary and arrive in Budapest at Bara Hotel in good time for an evening meal.
Option to take a boat trip on the Danube following the evening meal.
May 30
Free day in Budapest, followed by a short Evening Dance to recorded music with a buffet meal in the interval.
Accommodation: It is assumed that there will be two people sharing rooms. There will otherwise need to be a single room supplement.
Visit five countries, and dance in three of them! Sound attractive? It`s possible in May 2010.
